Lifestyle Fitness Investing in Incredible New Fitness Club Located at Kingston University

Lifestyle Fitness is proud to announce its new partnership with Kingston University, officially taking over the operation of the university’s on-campus gym earlier this month. The gym will be open to the whole community to join. Based at Penrhyn Road campus, the facility will undergo a huge refurbishment this summer as part of a long-term commitment to student wellbeing, community engagement, and fitness innovation.

As part of the new partnership, Lifestyle Fitness will deliver a comprehensive refurbishment of the gym, introducing brand-new equipment, a dedicated strength and conditioning area, enhanced recovery zones, and fully upgraded studio and changing facilities. These improvements are designed to meet the needs of students and the local community.

A spokesperson for the University explained; "Kingston University is delighted to welcome Lifestyle Fitness as the new operator of our University gym. Their exciting plans to refresh and re-fit the space will transform it into a vibrant, modern facility for students, staff, and the wider community.”

“The installation of new equipment and the revitalised environment mark a new chapter in our ongoing commitment to health and wellbeing, providing a facility where everyone can pursue their fitness goals."

The facility currently offers a wide range of cardio and resistance equipment, free weights, and functional fitness zones. Lifestyle Fitness will continue to operate the gym during the upgrade period, ensuring uninterrupted access for members while gradually transforming the space ahead of the academic year and September Freshers’ Week.

“We’re excited to begin this new partnership with Kingston University,” said Lifestyle Fitness Managing Director, James Lawrence. “Our focus will be on creating a supportive, inclusive environment and investing in long-term improvements. The gym will be open to everyone to join and we hope that local residents as well as students & staff will come and enjoy this incredible new facility.”

Lifestyle Fitness are currently offering new members 50% off their first two months, plus no joining fee, when they join online via the Lifestyle Fitness website.
