We are delighted to announce Lifestyle Fitness Cheshunt, based within Goffs Academy, is now open!

The new state-of-the-art gym is part of a brand new building at the Academy, and features a large gym with CV suite, free weights, stretch area and functional training zone. In addition to this, there will be a dedicated spin studio, dance studio and a large multi-functional studio area.

Our relaxing work area will give you the space to enjoy a post-workout shake while catching up on your e-mails (or the latest on social media!).

We're passionate about bringing fitness into the heart of the local community, and along with the team at Goffs Academy, we want to provide you the latest and greatest fitness community in the area.

James Cummings

Hi, I'm James. I qualified as a Level 3 PT in 2020 and in 2021 i went on to do complete another two Level 3 qualification in exercise referral and pre/post natal training. Recently I have just qualified as a Level 4 lower back pain specialist and aim to help as many people as possible, improving their functional ability and mental wellbeing. I'm also enthusiastic about developing muscular strength and endurance, especially through bodyweight movements (which are my favourite!).

I've always had a great passion for exercise and fitness. To me there is nothing more rewarding, or better feeling than helping my clients achieve their personal fitness goals through my help, education and motivation.

I am extremely enthusiastic and passionate about health and fitness. I have been a Personal Trainer for almost four years, delivering 1-1 PT sessions, as well as classes.

I like to incorporate a lot of HIIT/functional training in my sessions, which has proved to be effective in weight loss, toning, and gaining strength.

My approach as a Personal Trainer Is to place more of an emphasis on understanding each individual client, and to gather as much information about them, before formulating a programme that is suitable and effective in achieving their targets. I believe that each person is unique and conventional training/eating methods do not work for everyone.

You can expect to have a laugh and never-ending conversations, but all while working hard!
