Lifestyle Fitness to Open New Manchester Club

Manchester, UK, Release: Monday 16th November 2020

New luxury fitness facility coming to Manchester early 2021
Lifestyle Fitness and V1BE to open flagship site in Ancoats

Lifestyle Fitness and V1BE have announced a brand new, one-million-pound health club opening in Ancoats, Manchester early next year.

The new facility, part of the Anco&Co development on Great Ancoats Street, will open its doors in Q1 next year, making it the 28th club in the Lifestyle Fitness portfolio and the first in partnership with boutique fitness studio V1BE.

The brand-new boutique gym, which is situated right next to the Northern Quarter is spread over two floors, with V1BE running a variety of cutting-edge group exercise classes in a purpose-built mezzanine. The club will form part of the innovative new Anco&Co development which soon will open its doors to renters.

“We’re excited to be returning to Manchester,” said Lifestyle Fitness MD James Lawrence. “Our new club located in the Ancoats neighbourhood will be our most luxurious facility yet, creating an outstanding fitness space that members feel is their own”

Despite a challenging year for the fitness industry, Lifestyle Fitness and V1BE are committed to pushing the member experience on to the next level.

“We wanted to deliver a space that goes beyond a traditional gym, so we teamed up with V1BE, the leading studio workout brand already synonymous with the people of Manchester. Together we are excited to deliver Manchester’s best workouts”

V1BE and Lifestyle Fitness say they want to provide the people of Manchester with a facility that is far more personal, where members feel at their second home.

“We’ve spent a lot of time over the last few years really honing in on what makes a great community. We know that the personal touches, reliability and dependability go a long way. Our club will feature the latest equipment, functional training spaces and our changing rooms will feel more like a boutique hotel than a gym. We don’t cut corners when it comes to our personal service and commitment to our members.”

Andy Tee, a director at V1BE is equally enthused about the site. “Whilst this year’s been challenging for the fitness industry we’re excited to look forward and open our second site in Manchester. There’s a real synergy between Lifestyle and V1BE and we can’t wait to get cracking!”

While gyms across England are currently closed due to COVID-19, it hasn’t stopped companies like V1BE and Lifestyle Fitness seeking out new opportunities for when fitness and leisure facilities reopen their doors.

Lawrence explained, “If anything, COVID has only highlighted the importance of gyms to the health of the nation, and we fully expect to see a booming market for health and fitness in 2021.”
