The Lifestyle Fitness Games

With the 2016 Olympic Games officially commencing on Friday 5th August we thought we would host our very own set of sporting events - The Lifestyle Fitness Games!

We will be holding four main events which all members can take part in:

  • Rowing: 2000M - quickest time to complete the distance
  • Cycling: 5km trial - quickest time to complete the distance
  • Running: 400m - quickest time to run the distance
  • Weightlifting: Squat, Bench or Deadlift - most reps with your own body weight

To take part all you need to do is speak to a member of staff in club who will then witness your attempt and record your results using our submission form. Your result will then be featured in club and on our website as part of a league table, so you can see how you rank against your fellow members!

Up until the 12th of August you can compete to try and rank in the Top 3 of your club for each event - then from the 15th of August, the top 3 entries of each event from every Lifestyle Fitness club in the country will compete on a national level to determine the overall winners!

So are you ready to show us what you’re made of? Whether you’re an expert or a novice, challenge yourself and take part. It’s all good fun - you’ll even grab yourself a medal!
