Fit for National Fitness Day

It is the day to celebrate the role that physical activity plays across the UK. This year, the aim is to make National Fitness Day the most active day of the year. Thousands of clubs, parks and leisure centres are opening their doors to welcome you for free. We all know the benefits regular exercise deliver including a healthier heart and a better quality of life. But many of us find getting fit a challenge and it shouldn’t be.
Research shows if you exercise in company you are more likely to stick at it. A social atmosphere creates a positive environment and importantly helps us to have fun. That’s what National Fitness Day is all about – providing the inspiration and opportunities to move. So join in on the Most Active Day of the Year and celebrate the fun of fitness.
