Life after brain injury
16th January 2019
Lifestyle Fitness Ballymena's newest recruit is 26-year-old Tony Peacock, he has turned his life around after a brain injury left him unable to walk, talk or taste.
The former mechanical engineer had to learn to walk and talk again at a specialist rehabilitation unit at Musgrave Hospital.
"Tony has been with us for a few weeks now and has settled in well. He’s just made the transition to Personal Trainer and is very popular with our members. Perhaps it’s his story that gives him his passion in our club." Stephen Greene, Club Manager.
His story is inspirational to all. In a bid to help raise awareness of the condition and inspire others suffering, Tony has shared his story.
