12th March 2018

The time of year has come again, where we set out to collect as many eggs as possible for children's charities across the country!

Over the month of March, clubs will be collecting Easter eggs donated by members. Each club will then choose a charity of their choice for the eggs to be donated to.

Last year, our Spennymoor club mangaged to raise over 100 eggs! They were then donated to the St Cuthbert's Hospice in Durham.

Our Easter egg collection has a great impact on the charities that we collect for.

"It costs £2300 a day to pay for their clinical services so this is a drop in the ocean but every little helps and they are very grateful for the eggs which help put a smile on not just those in palliative care, but their families and visitors of all ages. Hopefully we will have enough eggs to raise some money and take the extra along for staff and volunteers to distribute."

BE A GOOD EGG THIS YEAR and donate an egg to charity!
