FIGHT TO FIT WITH CRAIG

Our Darlington PT, Craig has began his 8 week transformations with his clients
"In-between the months of September and November I have been running a “FIT TO FIGHT” training schedule for all budding volunteers of LSF Darlington. This consists of 2 PT sessions per week based on a high intensity routine. Utilising the whole gym package in which the volunteers are requested to conduct the following; a) PT sessions x16. b) Classes. c) Own training unsupervised.
So far 10 contenders have or attempting these routines with some awesome results, this starts off with a gruelling brutal fitness assessment at week 1 session 1; (1mile run (best effort), press ups (2 min), core exercise (2 min), outdoor sled push, hammer slam & 20kg KB deadlift) all timed and standards set? They were Graded A B C and by week 8 to improve on their original grade.
This was attempted at weeks 1 – 4 – 8 & to see their individual progressions by week 8. Part of the routine is mainly to be taken out of their comforts zone and attempting something totally different than the normal gym routine (i.e. 2-mile outdoor run with a session back in the gym).
(At present) Volunteers are coming through this Fighting Fit Routine with a big achievement, 99% have been Female mostly busy Mothers with families and busy schedules, so balancing both was a challenge itself. They all deserve a big shout out from me and the rest of LSF Darlington – “keep up the good work” - look forward to the next challenge in 2018.
