Coronavirus Information

20th March 2020

This evening, the UK Government has ordered that all gyms are to close tonight until further notice.

It is with utmost regret that we are confirming that all Lifestyle Fitness clubs will close tonight, and not reopen until authorised to do so by the government.

We know many of you are concerned about your membership payments. We can confirm that all memberships will automatically be frozen - you do not need to act. No payments will be taken from your bank account for the duration of the closure. Due to the banking system, payments submitted for the two working days following the closure may still be collected although rest assured we will be refunding these. For members who have paid up front, the duration of the closure will be added to your membership when we re-open.

We recommend our members continue to exercise while the gym is closed, and recommend you join our new Working Out From Home Facebook group where you will find helpful content, tips and guidance from PTs and staff members across the Lifestyle Fitness Community.

Finally, I want to thank you for the support you have shown us and our team during this difficult time. Stay healthy and we look forward to welcoming you back in our clubs soon!

Best wishes,

James Lawrence

Managing Director

How can I help reduce the spread of the Coronavirus?

  • Wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
  • Always wash your hands when you get home or into work
  • Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
  • Put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards
  • Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
  • Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
