01st May 2018

This May we're raising money for our club charity Centrepoint. We're asking members to take part in our Charity Challenge!

For the challenge you can complete:

12km on the cross trainer

1200 calories on a cycling bike

120 minutes on the treadmill

Of course if you're feeling really up for the challenge, you can complete all three!

You will have the whole month of May to complete the challenge, so there's plenty of time!

To sign up, please speak to a member of staff in club who will give you a record card to track your progress and will input you onto our leaderboard that can be found on our website.

For each person that completes the challenge, they will receive a Charity Challenge t-shirt and we will donate money to Centrepoint on their behalf.

Centrepoint is the national charity working to improve the lives of socially excluded, homeless young people. It provides a range of accommodation based services, including emergency night shelters and short stay hostels, specialist projects for care leavers, ex-offenders, young single parents, foyers and supported flats and floating support services. These accommodation services provide the foundations from which young people can start addressing some of the issues that lead to them becoming homeless, and developing the skills they need for a sustainable future.

Centrepoint works with young people to enable their personal, social, educational and vocational development. To this end, each service offers employment, training, education, life-skills and specialist support for young people with mental health, drug and alcohol issues.

Help us to raise money for an incredible charity by taking part in our challenge and improve your own fitness in the process.

Good luck!
