Rihanna loves early morning workouts

Pop superstar Rihanna absolutely loves to work out, her personal trainer has revealed.

Fitness expert Ary Nunez, who has worked with Rihanna for nearly four years, claims that the singer regularly requests a workout session in the early hours of the morning because she enjoys it so much.

Nunez revealed the Barbadian beauty especially loves martial arts trainings as well as a selection of dance and aerobics exercises. The news should come as no surprise considering the amount of plaudits the singer gets for her remarkable body.

It may encourage her millions of fans to engage in fitness training of their own in order to try and get a body like their idol.

In an interview with Shape Magazine, Nunez revealed that Rihanna had not always been such a huge fan of working out.

She said: "Rihanna is so connected to her body. She used to work out because it was part of her responsibility, but now she works out because she loves it! We focus on the core muscles and we do a ton of repetitions.

"Working with an artist like Rihanna has different demands than most. We train when she's ready, even if we're on the road and it's 2am in the morning. I'm on call 24/7 with her."

Reporting on the interview, Capitalfm.com revealed that Rihanna's diet consists mostly of protein. Fish, salad and vegetables were all listed as some of her typical foods.
