Bupa Great North Run 2009

Sorry, race entry is now closed
We are delighted to announce that once again we have 100 charity entry places for this year’s Great North Run, taking place on Sunday 20th September 2009. The Bupa Great North Run is THE most iconic half-marathon in the world and this year there will be 52,000 runners featured live on BBC television.
Following our huge success last year, and the great time had by all of our Team 100 Runners, we would like to give you the opportunity to join us again this year. Help us to raise funds for the Tony Blair Sports Foundation to aid the recruitment and training of more coaches and officials. Our goal is to give more access to sporting facilities throughout the North East. We are asking all individuals to do their very best to raise a minimum of £500, with Tony Blair himself sponsoring everyone a further £500.
Lifestyle Fitness will offer FREE use of their clubs in support of the runners and any runners who are already members will be able to contribute their monthly dues towards their sponsorship funds. Additionally, we’ll also be helping runners to raise money by promoting Team 100 in all of our clubs, and there will be prizes for our top fundraisers!
In order to register for the run there will be a £40 fee, which will be fully refunded upon completion of the race.
There’s only 100 places available! Team 100!
Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
